Singapore listeners treated to CNY dinner

Nearly a thousand Love 97.2FM listeners enjoyed a nine-course reunion dinner last Saturday as a prelude to Lunar (Chinese) New Year celebrations which officially start this weekend.

An open field in the heart of Singapore’s Chinatown district was booked for the dinner.

The MediaCorp station put on a two-hour show featuring song and dance performances by Love 97.2FM DJs along with zodiac analysis by renowned fortune-teller Yuan Zhong Siu.

MediaCorp artistes Chen Han Wei, Sora Ma, Xu Bin, Ya Hui and Shane Pow also greeted the crowd with their CNY wishes.

Another surprise for fans was the appearance by Hong Kong celebrities Sandra Ng and Ivana Wong.

The dinner ended with a Grand Draw with one lucky listener walked away with $888 cash.
