BIG & Mirchi lead Golden Mikes nominations

92.7 BIG FM leads the nominations for the Golden Mikes Indian radio advertising awards.

The 45 city network belonging to Reliance Broadcast has received 22 nominations, while another super-sized network Radio Mirchi has garnered 18.

Now in its fourth year, the Golden Mikes bills itself as rewarding the contribution of the whole radio ecosystem – including agencies, clients, stations and production houses.

More than 530 entries were received across 41 categories, according to organisers exchange4media.com.

Categories include Best of Radio for a Launch, Best first time effective use of Radio, Creativity, Best On Air Promotion, Best Use of Multiple Radio Stations and Best Digital/web streaming by a Radio/network.

The nominations were picked by a distinguished panel of judges from advertising, media and the business world.

The awards ceremony takes place on January 31 at ITC Grand Central in Mumbai.
