S’pore Chinese stations start a ‘Thank you’ movement

Ahead of the start of the new radio ratings period in Singapore, MediaCorp’s three Chinese stations held an event on Saturday to thank fans for making them the top three stations on the island.

Y.E.S. 93.3FM, Love 97.2FM and Capital 95.8FM held the top positions based on the last Nielsen Radio Diary Survey last September/October.

“Wave”, as it’s known, is a twice-yearly ratings of Singapore radio listening by Nielsen.

The first survey of 2014 began on Monday and runs for eight weeks.

The ‘Thank You’ movement took place at Causeway Point Shopping Mall.

DJs from the three stations enjoyed a meet-and-greet session with listeners and also gave out limited edition prizes and other free stuff.

The three stations face competition from SPH Radio’s UFM 100.3 and SAFRA Radio’s 88.3 Jia FM.
