Singapore’s first radio YouTubers DJs Divian Nair and Dee Kosh have uploaded their latest video to the platform, a short film called ‘Candle’.

The pair, who host 987FM’s Double D show weekdays from 8-12pm, conceptualised, cast and wrote the mini-film while Nair directed it.

They, along with Sandra Riley Tang from the band The Sam Willows and Lavinia Tan of Gold 90.5 fm, star in the 18 minute movie.

The pair say “Candle” is completely different from their usual humour as it focuses on the the emotions and the fragility of life and love.

The film revolves around a quote from a book by the same name that was made up for the story.

“It’s a journey we hope our viewers will take with us and hopefully by the end of it everyone will learn to appreciate what they have with the people they love the most,” said Nair.

In the first two days since it was released, ‘Candle’ has had more than 77,000 views.
