Philippines stations/DJs of the year revealed

The winners of the fourth Yahoo! Celebrity Awards honouring Filipina talent from radio, music, films and television were announced last Friday.

Love Radio 90.7 received the award for ‘Best FM Radio Station’.

It was nominated in this category along with 91.5 Big Radio, Barangay LS 97.1, MOR 101.9 and Energy FM 106.

The station scored another win when its DJ Papa Jack won ‘Best Male DJ’ awards, ahead of Chico Garcia of RX 93.1, Chris Tsuper  of Love Radio 90.7, Mr. Fu of Energy FM 106.7 and Sam YG, Slick Rick and Tony Toni of Magic 89.9.

DJ Chacha of MOR 101.9 was the ‘Best Female DJ’, beating Delamar of RX 93.1, , DJ Megan of 93.9 iFM, Nicole Hyala of Love Radio 90.7 and Sam Oh of Magic 89.9.

The awards, with the tagline’ Powered by You’, allowed fans to choose and vote for their favourites celebs and media across several categories.

More than 17.5 million fan votes were received for all award categories.
