India’s Radio City has launched a new metal show to cater to the huge untapped demand for the genre.

Domination@8 will air on Radio City Freedom, the company’s online indie station.

The show plans to feature several Indian-based metal bands including Bhayanak Maut, Demonic Resurrection and Zygnema who have built following at home and abroad.

Other South Asian acts will also be played including Abominable Carnivore from Bangladesh, the North-Eastern band Silver Tears, award winning powerhouse from Mumbai –Providence.

Domination@8 also features the various sub-genres of metal including death, black, tharsh & other hybrids.

Radio City Freedom is one of six online-only stations on the company’s portal planetradiocity.com.

The web stations recently celebrated their 5th million stream and the company sees web broadcasting as an essential part of its business strategy as internet use in India continues to grow.
