Radio City India launches memorabilia store

India’s Radio City has launched an e-shop to sell autographed merchandise and other collectibles.

Planetradiocity.com, the network’s music portal, will sell exclusive CDs/DVDs, posters, quirky tees and other memorabilia from the world of music and culture.

Indian music labels Shemaroo and OK! Listen, along with up-and-coming brands Engrave and Clean Planet, will showcase their collections in the store.

“The ‘music e-shop’ adds a new dimension to PlanetRadiocity,”  said Rachna Kanwar, SVP & Business Head, Digital Media & New Business.

“The aim is to consolidate the bond that our listeners share with their favorite music and fulfill the aspirations of a die-hard music lover.  The merchandise available on the website truly defines the attitude of an ardent music lover,” she added.

PlanetRadiocity.com launched in 2010 as a one-stop destination for entertainment news, web radio and downloads.

Radio City was India’s first fully private FM station.

Bangalore was the first station to open in July 2001, it now operates in 20 cities.
