Fly FM’s ‘Krappi Call’ moves to TV

Fly FM’s PM drivetime team Phat Fabes and Ben have taken their ‘Krappi Call’ to prime-time television.

The wacky wind-up segment, which the pair are synonymous with on radio, is just one of the regular features that has moved with them to ntv7.

Producers say the 30-minute show which airs on Wednesday nights features celebrity interviews, celebrity challenges and random acts of mischief.

A segment called ‘Fabes and Ben in The Real World’ sees the presenters take to the streets of the Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur performing random pranks on passers-by.

“We are very proud to collaborate with Fly FM in bringing this incredible duo on screen because we are confident that their creativity and enthusiasm will breathe a new air into our programme schedule,” said Airin Zainul, ntv7 and 8TV’s Group General Manager.

Group GM of Media Prima Radio Networks Anida Tahrim said: “You will see the famous Fly FM ‘Guru Gee’ and ‘Krappi Call’ segments come to life.  We believe that everyone will enjoy watching them in action as they bring their personalities on screen.”

The show is rerun on Malaysia’s 8TV every Friday at 11.00pm.

The pair will continue to host their drivetime show on Fly FM.

Malaysia’s second most popular English radio station plays a mix of Malay and English music for an under 30 audience.
