Malaysia’s Capital FM has brought in April Kuan to host two new music-based shows over the weekend.

She will host ‘Global Passport’ on Saturdays from 12 pm to 4 pm and ‘Jazzscapes’ on Sundays from 2 pm to 6 pm.

‘Global Passport’ is a world music show showcasing different genres of music around the globe.

Kuan describes the show as “travelling without moving”, as listeners will get a chance to experience different cultures through music.

On ‘Jazzscapes,’ she plays the best selection of jazz music from the past and present in all its incarnations, including acid jazz, new jazz, bossa nova and lounge.

According to Kuan, who is also a voice talent, emcee, PR consultant, writer and editor, her mainstay has always been her love for music.

The show airs on 88.9 FM in the Klang Valley and 107.6 FM in Penang on the Star Radio Group station.
