Malaysia’s Suria FM has introduced Naim Tahak as a co-host on its weekend sports show ‘Grandstand Suria’.

Tahak will join sports enthusiast Halim Othman on the show which features interviews with athletes and sports icons while introducing listeners to lesser-known sports.

‘Grandstand Suria’ airs on weekends from 9 am to 1 pm on 96.0 FM in Ipoh and 101.4 FM in Johor Bharu.

It also includes segments like ‘Sports Round Up’- featuring latest sports news, and ‘Sports Prediction’ – where listeners get to talk about upcoming games or matches.

Tahak, who has been in the industry for 8 years, said: “I am glad to be given the chance to host a show of my interest. This is the opportunity for me to learn from Halim, who is an experienced announcer. He has given me a lot of guidance in how we can approach different topics and angles.”

SuriaFM Manager Adiwati added: “This is not the regular weekend show. It promotes the sports industry. It is now more exciting to have two individuals, who are also sports enthusiasts hosting the show.”
