Superstars from the world of Chinese contemporary music gathered in the Malaysian capital KL on Saturday for the Global Chinese Music Awards (GCMA).

The 13th event was organised by Star Publications station 988FM at Putra stadium in Bukit Jalil.

The awards are part of a collaboration between seven Chinese language stations across Asia, which sees them take turns to host the event.

23 Chinese artists performed on the night including Joey Tung, Raymond Lam Fun, Wei Li An and Tang Zhi Kei.

Next year’s event will be held in Guangzhou, China and hosted by Music FM Radio.
