Eleventh anniversary party for Virgin Hitz owner

Thailand’s BEC-TERO Radio marked its 11th anniversary last week with a party for all staff at the company’s studios.

The “Louder Than Ever” event for 95.5 Virgin Hitz and Eazy FM 105.5 saw several top local artists turn up including Slot Machine, Fellow Fellow, Burin, AF10 and The Star9.

Buddhist monks also came along to bless the stations.

The party also raised money and collected donated audio equipment for a local foundation for the blind.

The brand Virgin Hitz launched in 2002 under licence from Virgin Radio International but Eazy FM has been operating since 1994 under former owners U+I Corporation.

BEC-TERO Radio is a subsidiary of the Thai entertainment conglomerate BEC World, which has interests in TV, the music industry and large-scale events as well as radio.
