Singapore’s 987 FM is giving away a chance for two fans to fly to Universal Studios in Orlando and hang out with boy-band ‘One Direction’.

The station recently ran a contest where listeners had to post their InstaVideos singing one of the band’s songs with made-up lyrics, with the hashtag #1DFOURSG987.

Ten of these listeners will perform their songs on Sunday afternoon at the ‘987FM One Direction Day’ event at Orchard Road and one of them will be picked as overall winner.

The event has been trending on social media with #OneDirectionDay over the past week.

987FM DJ Gerald Koh, who will be flying to Orlando with the winners, said: “Very proud that Singapore is the only country in Southeast Asia to be part of this experience and 987FM is only radio station in Singapore that brings fans close to One Direction,”
