Singapore youth station 987 FM has created a Youtube clip poking fun at some of its competitors.

The video, titled ‘Five Types of Local Radio Stations’ was uploaded at the beginning of the month.

It purportedly spoofs several other Singapore-based radio stations, described as ‘Trying too hard’ to ‘Over The Top’ before revealing MediaCorp’s 987FM as ‘The Chosen One’.

One part of the video, which features a ‘For Men Only’ station, appears to mock Jaime Yeo, one of the morning show jocks on competitor Power 98. Yeo was until recently also a TV sports presenter.

In another moment called ‘…But still not number one’, three presenters – possibly from another competitor Kiss 92 – speak in unison and appear just a little too positive.

Interestingly, the video managed 3250 views since it went online and at the time of publication, got 54 ‘thumbs down’ reviews from viewers, more than 39 who gave it a ‘thumbs up’.
