Malaysia’s Red FM have added a new jock to the Really Really Late Breakfast Show.

The arrival of well-known comedienne Joanne Kam will help spice up the show, say station bosses at the Star Radio Group station.

Kam will join regular hosts Papi Zak and Kavin, who are also comedians.

Speaking about the new role, Kam said: “I believe we all hold our own weight at being funny but our style of humor is slightly different and it blends well together, just like ice kacang.”

Host Kavin thinks Kam will help balance the show that used to be dominated by a purely male perspective.

“She brings in a whole new dimension to the show. Before, with Papi and I, we didn’t have the feminine touch. However, with Joanne co-hosting with us, it will definitely bring that and so much more,”

Papi Zak added: “The show is basically like listening in on a conversation in a mamak stall with three very loud characters and enjoying the riff raff,” he added.

The station says listeners can expect a completely different show from others that air in the same timebelt, from 2-5pm.
