British pop icon launches syndicated radio show

British pop star Kim Wilde has launched a brand new internationally syndicated radio show.

Wilde, who has sold 20 million singles and 10 million albums, is best known for the 80s hits Kids in America and You Keep Me Hanging On.

Wilde has already been a radio jock on London’s Magic 105.4 over the past five years.

Two stations have already signed up for The Kim Wilde 80s Show, a collaboration between London-based production company Blue Revolution and Francis Currie Consulting.

Paul Hollins, Blue Revolution CEO said: “Kim has a proven track record in radio and we are delighted to be able to bring her passion to an international audience. The Kim Wilde 80s Show underlines our commitment to bringing world-class radio to listeners worldwide.”

Kim Wilde added: “I am really looking forward to working with all of the radio stations who take the show.  I really hope I get the chance not just be on air, but also to visit them and to join in with their station concerts and events.”
