Submissions for the 13th edition of Singapore’s prestigious music awards ‘Anugerah Planet Muzik (APM) 2014’ are now officially open till August 15.

Organised by MediaCorp’s Malay Broadcast Division, Suria TV, Warna 94.2FM and Ria 89.7FM, it recognises outstanding talents and achievements in the regional Malay music industry.

A total of 19 awards will be presented this year.

The Best Collaboration category has been divided into two categories: Best Collaboration (Artiste) and Best Collaboration (Song).

Entries must have been released for public consumption between January 1, 2013 and June 30, 2014 to qualify.

Fans from Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore will get opportunity to vote for their favourite songs and artists in the fan-driven categories.

The awards ceremony on Friday, October 17 at Suntec Singapore will showcase collaborations of artistes from Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia.

There will also be a Live simulcast of APM 2014 on Suria (Singapore), Warna 94.2FM (Singapore), Ria 89.7FM (Singapore), Astro Ria (Malaysia and Brunei Darussalam) and Net (Indonesia).
