TV stars join MediaCorp’s Chinese stations

Top names from MediaCorp’s most watched TV station Channel 8 are joining the company’s Mandarin radio stations in several key time-belts.

Zhang Zhen Huan, who acted in several Chinese dramas including The Dream Catchers and Together, will join Y.E.S. 93.3FM.

Zhang will co-host with regular night-time presenter Cheng Ning every Tuesday from 10pm to midnight.

Another top actor Romeo Tan, star of Mandarin series Joys of Life, It Takes Two and Sudden will also turn radio jockey, co-hosting on the same show on Thursday evenings.

Meanwhile another of MediaCorp’s Chinese station’s will see several newsreaders join from Channel 8 TV.

Yang Zhen Hua, Jiang Huanwho, Lin Feng Yu, Wei Feng Qin and Li Li Mei will present news bulletins on Capital 95.8FM during the morning and evening drivetimes.

In other changes, top Mandarin personality Dennis Chew (Zhou Chongqing) moves from Y.E.S 93.3FM after 20 years to join Love 92.2FM’s morning show.

Chew, who has hosted several TV programmes, will join co-anchors Violet Tan and Marcus Chin.

The changes take place from March 10.
