Thai government uses media to promote its achievements

The Thai government is launching several radio and television programmes to highlight its achievements, according to Asia One.

These shows will publicise the initiatives taken by the junta government in for national reform, helping farmers and tackling economic problems, said government spokesman Yongyuth Mayalarp.

The shows include ‘Thai Khu Fah’ – a one-minute radio programme that will air every Monday to Sunday during the 7am morning news on FM 92.5 and every station linked to the station.

‘The Wellbeing of the People’ is a five-minute radio programme that will air Monday to Friday.

‘The Spokesman Report’ – a five-minute English-language programme – will air on weekdays during the 7pm evening news, with a repeat during the 7am morning news on FM 88 and other English-language radio stations.

‘Return Happiness to the People’, hosted by Prime Minister General Prayut Chan-o-cha, where he talks about the government’s works and achievements, will continue to be broadcast every Friday.
