New speakers announced at RadioAsia 2015

Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union’s (ABU) RadioAsia2015 Conference in Yangon, Myanmar, from May 28 to 30 will feature over 40 eminent international speakers from the radio industry.

They will present many key developments and updates in international radio programming and offer opportunities to participants to build new contacts and expand markets.

Asia Radio Today is a supporting media sponsor of the event and our Managing Editor Steve Ahern is one of the speakers.

Award winning Australian Content Director and international radio consultant Barry Keohane will also give a talk titled Asia Radio Today.

There will be two radio workshops titled ‘Unlocking Your Creativity’ and ‘Advertising and Revenue’ on the first day.

The conference will also feature many sessions covering various topics including Creative Power of Radio, Transforming Radio into Multimedia Player: Content, Implementation of Digital Radio in the Asia-Pacific: Success Stories and On-going Breakthroughs, Case Studies: Leading the Way in Competitive Markets, Accessing the Two-generations on Social Media: How Does Radio Do It, News’s Future is in its Authenticity, Kids’ Radio: Serving the Children and Panel Discussion: Radio for the Next Generation.

The 3rd ABU Radio Song Festival showcasing original, upcoming musicians from 15 countries from Asia, Australia and the Pacific will also be organised on May 29 as a side event to the conference.
