India’s 93.5 Red FM has brought back popular RJ Sangram to host its Pune station’s breakfast show ‘Morning Number 1’.

Sangram, whose name means revolution, has launched a campaign titled ‘Mi Aahe Punyacha Sangram’ (I am Pune’s Sangram) – where he identifies and discusses different city-related issues.

The first one that he took up was of lack of cleanliness in the city and created awareness about waste segregation with the help of Pune Municipal Corporation.

The three-week campaign culminated with an event on Wednesday which was attended by Joint Municipal Commissioner, Suresh Jagtap, District Sanitation Officer IS Inamdar and city residents.

Sangram said: “I am confident that if each one of us acts as a responsible citizen, segregates and disposes waste efficiently, by next year it will be tough to find dirt in the city.”
