Radio Shadhin 92.4 FM in Dhaka, Bangladesh, celebrated its first anniversary on March 20, reports The Daily Star.

The event was inaugurated by the Minister of Cultural Affairs Asaduzzaman Noor.

Chairman Aly Zaker, Managing Director Sara Zaker, and Station heads Sriya Sharbojoya and Mir Fazle Rabby were also present at the occasion.

The station says it has already garnered a dedicated fan following among the youth with its energetic and thoughtful programmes.

With the motto of “Rise Up”, the radio station hopes to voice the dreams, ambitions and possibilities of a young and new Bangladesh.
