Radio Oman picks Netia Assist

Leading software provider NETIA’s Radio-Assist™ has been selected by Radio Sultanate of Oman for its stations in Muscat and Salalah.

The software will provide complete automation and support digitization and preservation of the broadcaster’s national archives, currently stored on a 80,000 audio tapes.

The custom Radio-Assist System automates Production, Scheduling, Playout, and Archiving and will run in English as well as Arabic.

The NETIA system provides fast remote access ensuring the stability of archived content, while synchronizing the Muscat and Salalah archives and giving them the option of exchanging content.
