Radio Mirchi listeners meet Bollywood heartthrob

Eight listeners to India’s Radio Mirchi have got to meet their Bollywood hero Shahrukh Khan.

The once in a lifetime opportunity was organised around the new movie Chennai Express, an action comedy starring the man nicknamed King Khan, which is on target to break Indian box office records.

Khan has starred in more than 75 Bollywood films and was described by the Los Angeles Times as the world’s biggest movie star.

He’s also been nicknamed Brand SRK due to his various brand endorsements including Pepsi, Nokia and TAG Heuer.

Radio Mirchi’s winners came from several Indian cities including Pune, Nagpur and Mumbai.

They had to mimick the Bollywood star in the way he dresses, walks and dances for a chance to win the chance to meet-‘n’-greet him.

Radio Mirchi is owned by the Times of India and runs stations in 32 Indian cities and Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Al Ain in the United Arab Emirates.
