Radio imaging event grows bigger

More radio gurus have joined the line up at ‘The Imaging Days’ – the world’s first radio imaging event scheduled for Amsterdam on September 8 and 9.

During the event, international professionals will discuss all aspects of great imaging productions and show some of the hottest production techniques.

Head of Production for Capital FM and Capital XTRA (UK), Chris Nicoll will dissect the workflow of a large imaging team, and how that translates to the day-to-day.

Marc Vickers, who composes jingles and imaging for BBC Radio 1, 2 & 6 Music, Smooth Radio, Bauer Network, Sky Radio (NL), Dasding (GER), Kiss FM (SP) and Skala FM (DK), and is Creative Director at Wise Buddah Jingles & Music Imaging will host a session titled “Jingles Loves Imaging”.

He will break down some of his work and discuss creative ways of mixing imaging tricks with jingles to complete a station sound.

David Wartnaby is the station voice at Heart (AC Radio, UK) and on promos and imaging in Australia, South Africa, Kenya and Oman will share insider tips on directing a voiceover.

Former Head of Imaging for Pure Tonic Media, ReelWorld and presently Imaging Director for IMGR, George Taylor’s session will be on creative production techniques.

In another session, ‘Society of Radio Jingles & Tunes’ will take a trip down memory lane to tell ‘The History of Jingles & Imaging’.
