India’s 20-station network Radio City 91.1FM has hired RJ Roshan as the new breakfast show host for its Vadodara station in the state of Gujarat.

The station says Roshan is passionate about the local music scene and has been involved with many regional productions which went on to become viral hits.

Songs like ‘Gujju kolaveri di’, ‘Gujarati amplifier’ got more than a million views online.

The station says Roshan will play the role of an entertaining friend on air, predicting his unique sense of humour will be a sure-fire hit.

The show will also have new listener features, music format, local news and gossip.
