Sri Lankan radio boss Ryan Honter is to be one of the judges at this year’s AIBs.
Honter, who is Chief Operating Officer of Colombo Communications Ltd, will join representatives from dozens of other broadcasters in selecting the winners.
Another regional judge picked for his radio background is Carlson Huang, Vice Manager and Presenter at Radio Taiwan International.
The awards are organised by the Association of International Broadcasters and are now in their ninth year.

Honter is particularly involved in the running of CCL’s three radio stations Shree FM, EFM and Ran FM.
The AIBs are an annual hunt for the best factual content on TV and radio worldwide.
The awards highlight the best live journalism, documentaries, investigative reporting, live sports coverage, science and children’s factual stories.
Prizes will also be given for international personality of the year for TV and for radio.
The AIBs will be awarded at a gala dinner in London on November 6.
