The celebrations for the 20th anniversary of Singapore’s Power 98 began this week with the launch of a contest which will give away $10,000 to its listeners.
SAFRA Radio’s English lifestyle station, Power 98 FM made its debut on the airwaves in October 1994.
The station says the thought behind the cash giveaway contest is “The more you listen, the more you know, the more you win.”
The station will also bring back some familiar voices from its past as well as surprise guests with birthday wishes.
The station regularly engages its listeners through on-site activities and on social media.
Power 98FM is also the Official Radio Station for the Singapore Kindness Movement.
In the past, it has also participated in a charity car wash, a hair wash event to raise funds for women.
