Jason Tan joins Power 98 Breakfast

A former broadcast journalist on Singapore’s Power 98 FM, 36-year old Jason Tan joins DJs Sonja and Jamie on the Power Breakfast Show, replacing veteran Hubert Tang who quit recently.

Jason entered the local radio industry in 2007 with MediaCorp’s regional news and current affairs station Radio Singapore International (RSI) as a co-host for its alternative news programme “Rara Avis”.

The popular comedy series became one of RSI’s most-downloaded podcasts.

Jason next joined Lush 99.5FM, interviewing personalities from music, arts, and culture.

He also made an appearance on the Power Breakfast Show on Valentine’s Day, when the jocks tried to get a date for him, leading to him being offered the fulltime role.
