99.5 Rait FM, Papua New Guinea (PNG), just launched a brand new breakfast show ‘Loquie and Didi with Elton’.

It is the first and only three-host breakfast show in the country.

Rait FM broadcasts from Port Moresby, the capital of PNG, and airs locally produced content as well as the best music from the South Pacific region.

The station’s Programming Director, Ryan Khay, who has previously worked with Eon Broadcasting for MIX and SEA FM, has been working behind the scenes to introduce new programming.

According to him, the combination of Didi and Loquie – who co-hosted s show on another station 10 years ago, and Elton – a popular comedian, is a great match.

The station has also launched a couple of more new shows.

‘BK’s Workday’ will air from 10 am to 2 pm, with a section called ‘BK’s Tuckerbox’ from midday to 1 pm playing lunchtime requests.

The new afternoon show ‘The Rat Trap with Bata Rat’ will air from 2 pm to 6 pm on weekdays.

According to Khay, these are just a few of the many changes he plans to introduce soon on the station.
