iM4U fm welcomes the Lunar New Year

 

Malaysian youth station iM4U fm has dedicated a segment on its breakfast show ‘Bangit’ to welcome the Lunar New Year.

The segment, titled ‘Dream’ will air on Wednesdays from 11am to 12pm.

It aims to inform listeners about volunteer activities that they could take part in or are co-organized with iM4U.

This week, hosts Ira and Tyler will be speaking to Tan Shyue Wern, iM4U Branding Director on GongXi4U is a festive celebration initiated by iM4U where its volunteers visit different homes to share the share the joy of celebrating Chinese New Year with the underprivileged.

This year, the station will be visiting the homes in five different locations.

“This is GongXi4U’s third edition and it is an honour to have the opportunity to share the experience of celebrating Chinese New year with our volunteers and bringing the joy to the homes that we will be visiting,” says Tan.

Next Wednesday, on January 27, Ira and Tyler will be speaking to Faruq Iskandar, GongXi4U Project Manager from an on-ground event.
