India’s annual Excellence in Radio Awards (ERA) 2016 to recognise and reward outstanding content and creativity in the industry is now open for entries.

The awards started in 2006 and celebrate the very best of Indian radio, honouring outstanding programming, on-air personalities, marketing & promotions and creativity within the industry.

They will be held on May 13 in Mumbai at the annual one-day India Radio Forum.

This year’s categories include Programming, Talent, Marketing & Promotions and Advertising. The panel of judges will include reputed radio, advertising, television and creative professionals.

Last year, Red FM topped the winners list while Radio City and Radio Mirchi shared the second spot.

The deadline for submitting early bird entries is February 19, after which a late fee applies.

Last date for submitting entries is March 2.
