Singapore’s largest broadcaster MediaCorp is celebrating once again after eight of its stations made the country’s top ten rankings.

The latest Nielsen Radio Diary Survey, conducted in September and October, saw the company’s three Chinese stations maintain their leadership position.

Figures released to MediaCorp’s Channel News Asia (CNA) on Thursday revealed Y.E.S. 93.3FM achieved 21.8 percent listenership,  Love 97.2FM reached 20.1 percent and Capital 95.8FM amassed 17.1 per cent.

The company says Class 95 has retained its position as number one English station, closely followed by Gold 90.5FM.

CNA reports that Gold saw its listenership climb 1.5 per cent to 13.2 per cent.

Nielsen conducts twice yearly diary surveys on behalf of Singapore’s radio industry.

The figures are released directly to stations.
