New Music Director for Class 95 Singapore

Singapore’s number one English station Class 95 has hired a new music director.

Jeremy Ratnam joins the MediaCorp-owned station on Monday to take up the new role.

Ratnam is no stranger to Singapore radio. Until May this year he worked for competitor Kiss 92 as a DJ and music director.

He also spent five years on Radio 91.3, now known as Hot FM and before that 11 years on Power 98, which is owned by the Singapore Army.

He also a singer having made his first performance on TV as a child on the Singapore Broadcasting Corporation, which eventually turned into MediaCorp.

Speaking about his new role, Ratnam said: “It’s great to be back on radio and I’m looking forward to working with old friends!”

As well as his music director duties, Ratnam will be hosting Show Me The Music on sister-station 987FM, starting on Monday.
