Broadcast software company RCS has promoted Mike Powell to the position of Senior Vice President (SVP) International Operations and Chief Compliance Officer.

Powell joined the company to oversee its international operations 12 years ago and was recently involved in its Media Ratings Council (MRC) process.

Before joining RCS he hosted top-rated morning shows on several UK music radio stations and then transitioned to station management.

The stations he has worked with include County Sound Radio Network, Pirate FM, Fox FM, 96.4 The Eagle and Kiss 102.

He was one of the first in the UK to use RCS Selector software and the very first to use its Master Control automation system.

Powell, who will be based in New York headquarters of RCS, commented on his expanded role: “I’m very proud to be a part of an amazing team of people serving great broadcasters in 109 countries around the world.”
