1,500 participants took part in MediaCorp’s ‘Battle of the Schools X Country Run’ last Saturday.

The race passed through the historic MacRitchie Reservoir – the oldest reservoir in Singapore.

It featured an ‘Open Category’ and a ‘Student Category’.

Both the winners in School Category were from Anglo Chinese School (Independent).

The Male winner was 15-year old Issac Tan, 15, and the Female wiiner was 16-year old Peck Hsiao Tyng

Overall Open Category winner was Compassvale Secondary School.

The Male Champion in this Category 25-year old Colin Tung, a freelance writer who represented Queensway Secondary School.

The female winner was Renuka Satianathan, 26, a teacher at Methodist Girls’ School.

Top MediaCorp artistes including Edwin Goh, Ian Fang and Jayley Woo were also present along with the company’s top management to award the winners.
