The high costs of operating music subscription services like Pandora, iTunes Radio and Spotify means their business models are doomed, a new report says.
The UK-based Generator Research blames the royalty payouts for music rights, reports Radio and Internet News.
The article says 60-70 percent of revenues are paid out to labels and publishers.
