Kids visit Radio Mirchi studio in Nagpur

15 children from the city of Nagpur in western India visited the studios of Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM and interacted with the station crew on Saturday, reports The Times of India.

Members of Nagpur For Kids (NFK) Club learnt how the station functions and met with their favourite RJs.

They also got to know about various departments in the station and how they work hand-in-hand with each other.

The kids also went inside the on-air studio with RJ Jia and RJ Shubham who also told them that the most crucial part of a host’s job is not to talk a lot but to offer quality content to listeners.

RJ Jia also showed them how songs are played on air using a programming software and admitted that RJs are bound to make mistakes and “in such situations, presence of mind plays an important role.”

According to one of the kids, the visit was informative as well as interesting.
