Fever 104 team heads to flood-hit Kashmir

India’s Fever 104 FM joined the relief and rescue operations following the devastating flood in the state of Jammu and Kashmir.

It launched a campaign called ‘Jammu Kashmir mein bachane ke liye jaan, poora India laga raha hai apni pehchaan’ (Join Indians everywhere using their contacts to save lives in Jammu and Kashmir), for its listeners in Delhi.

The station helped reunite several people separated from their families and provided whereabouts of those who needed rescue and help.

Manasha was one such young Kashmiri girl who was separated from her family.

Her whereabouts were relayed to the Air Force by the station and within a few hours, they were reunited.

The station’s team led by Siddharth Gandotra was also actively involved in providing information about survivors to the Indian Army as well as the Western Air Command.

Several celebrities like cricketer Harbhajan Singh and Bollywood stars John Abraham, Kunal Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, and Shradha Kapoor also came on board to for the cause.
