Capital Radio, Malaysia’s only English station for women, has launched new breakfast and drivetime shows.

Pamela Chong and Janice Yap started hosting Capital Breakfast, weekdays from 6-10am, last monday.

Another new voice Isabel has joined co-host Non on The Jam Break, weekdays 4-8pm.

The trio are newcomers to radio but the station says they each have “a background that enables them to relate to the women of today”.

The new Capital Breakfast promises to bring real issues faced by women to the forefront including equality in the workplace along with expert advice.

Meanwhile the new Jam Break is being pitched as a show with announcers who are like chalk and cheese.  They both offer multiple perspectives on the news of the day – both serious and irreverent, says the station.

The show will also feature how-tos and did-you-knows on health, fashion, tech and beauty along with regular career advice.
