Indian radio network 92.7 BIG FM has announced the sixth edition of BIG Star Entertainment Awards in association with Star Plus, a leading General Entertainment Channel.

The awards, to be held in Mumbai on December 13, will celebrate entertainers of the year across the of Bollywood, television, music and sports.

The initiative empowers audiences to nominate and vote for their favourite entertainer across 30 categories in various genres.  

The theme for this year’s event will showcase the exciting and vibrant culture of China.

 Speaking on the announcement, Tarun Katial, Chief Executive Officer, Reliance Broadcast Network Limited said: “BIG Star Entertainment Awards is a platform for the people and by the people which empowers them to choose the best entertainers of the year sans any jury.
