Malaysian stations ERA FM, MY FM and Hitz FM organised an event at Kota Kinabalus last weekend to show support to the families and victims of MH370.

Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 went missing on March 8 while flying from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing.

The airliner is now believed to have crashed in the Indian Ocean.

The vigil was called ‘Let Us Unite Together in #Remembering MH370’ and featured performances from local artists including Appy Tots, The Ariez, Jonathan Tse and friends.

Announcers and crew from the stations were also present along with more than a hundred listeners.

They shared messages of hope, pray, love and unity on balloons and paper which was then folded in to crane origami.

The balloons were released during the final moments of the event.
