3rd ICBT conference in Kuala Lumpur next week

The 3rd International Conference on Broadcast Training (ICBT) will be held on February 5 and 6 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

It is hosted by the Ministry of Communications and Multimedia, Malaysia (KKMM) and organised by the Tun Abdul Razak Broadcasting and Information Institute (IPPTAR) and Asia-Pacific Institute for Broadcasting Development (AIBD).

The theme for this year’s conference is ‘Creative Content – Maximising Business Value and Audience Experience’.

The conference aims to help broadcasters use creative content across many platforms and expose participants to the latest trends and generate discussion and debate.

Speakers at the conference include internationally recognised broadcast trainer Steve Ahern, new AIBD Director Chang Jin and other reputed media professionals.

The first day’s sessions include ‘The Future of Broadcasting Depends on Today’s Creative Content’, ‘Shifting Audience Preferences and Behaviours’ and ‘Creative Content for a Global Audience’.

On the second day, there will be two sessions – ‘Technological Innovations and Trends Impacting Creative Content Production’ and ‘Creative Content for Capacity Building and Training’.
