MS Dhoni’s World Cup 2011 winning bat at Red FM

India’s 93.5 Red FM celebrated the euphoria around the ongoing cricket world cup with an exclusive display of captain M S Dhoni’s 2011 World Cup winning bat.

The station invited listeners and fans to touch, feel and click a selfie with the famous bat at its studio in Delhi.

The Indian captain had famously won the last cricket world cup for the country by hitting the ball for a six.

His bat now holds the Guinness World Record for being the most expensive cricket bat.

It was sold at an auction for $149,269 (£ 100,000).

The winning bat was brought to the station amongst tight security and station RJs Rocky, Swati, Ashish and Sachin were among those who posed for a picture with it.
