Star Radio Group remembers MH370

The four radio stations under Malaysia’s Star Radio Group – Red FM, 988, SuriaFM and Capital FM will be dedicating Friday, March 6, to extend support to those affected by the MH370 disaster.

Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 went missing on March 8, 2014, while flying from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing and is believed to have crashed in the Indian Ocean. It has not been found yet.

As a remembrance, SuriaFM announcers and local celebrities will read out poems and poetry sent in by listeners.

988 will share the latest updates on the search for the missing flight and the actions taken throughout the year.

Red FM and Capital FM will air messages and wishes from listeners.

Star Radio Group news team’s interviews with family members of those affected by the tragedy will also be featured on air.

“We would like express our support to those affected by MH370. A year has passed, but our thoughts and prayers have never faded. Besides on air, we would also be sharing the messages from our listeners on Twitter under the hashtag #RememberingMH370,” says Kudsia Kahar, Star Radio Group’s Chief Operating Officer.
