XFM S’pore launches new shows

MediaCorp’s world music radio station for the expatriate community, 96.3 XFM has been revamped.

A number of new programmes and segments with fresh content were introduced by the Singapore station last month.

‘Globe Trekker’ features five hours of music, interesting trivia and interview capsules from a different country every month.

An informative segment called ‘Uniquely Singapore’ helps expats understand Singapore’s customs, cultures, festive celebrations and practices.

‘XFM’s Local Guide’ provides weekly updates of the latest happenings in and around town and suggestions on weekend activities encouraging social integration with the locals.

‘Bengali Hours’ has been introduced as an addition to the existing offerings in French, German, Hindi and Japanese language shows, airing daily from 8pm to 10pm.

Formerly known as International Channel, Expat Radio 96.3XFM can also be heard online at and via the MeRadio smartphone app.
