World Radio Day: Fly FM Malaysia’s live broadcast with NOVA Brisbane

To celebrate World Radio Day (WRD) on Friday, Fly FM Malaysia’s aired a live broadcast of its presenters Ben & Hafiz broadcast with Ash, Kip & Luttsy of NOVA 106.9 in Brisbane, Australia.

The Media Prima Berhad owned Fly FM is the second most popular English radio station in Malaysia, and plays both English and Malay music.

Ben Jern and Hafiz Mohd Hatim host the station’s breakfast show  on weekdays from 6 am to 10 am.

Ashley Bradnam, Kip Wightman and David Lutteral host the breakfast show on Brisbane’s Nova 106.9 on weekdays from 6am to 9am.

During the broadcast, the hosts from both stations shared light-hearted banter played a contest to find out which one of them was dumber than the other.

According to the Fly FM, this was a reminder of the power of radio to bring those who are miles apart together.
