Two Philippines stations in programming tie-up

The partly government-owned Radio Philippines Network (RPN) is to air shows from private station DWIZ, a flagship station of Aliw Broadcasting Corporation, one of the largest radio groups in the country.

The Business Mirror newspaper reports that at least seven DWIZ programmes will be rebroadcast on RPN.

RPN owns 13 stations, mostly on Mindanao island, in the south of the archipelago.

DWIZ broadcasts to Metro Manila on 882AM.

The shows being shared are Kasangga Mo ang Langit, Karambola, Hataw sa Serbisyo, Isumbong Mo kay Tulfo, Doble Banda and Chachahin Mo, Baby.

The Business Mirror says the joint-venture will allow both stations to expand their reach and enhance revenues.
