Tamil film legend and lothario Jamshad Cethirakath – better known as Arya – looked in on Oli 96.8FM during a recent visit to Singapore.

The heartthrob was in town to promote his latest movie, Irrandum Ulagam (Second World).

The station invited six die-hard Arya fans into the studio after running a contest for a chance to to meet their favourite film idol.

The on air and online campaign sparked off a mad rush of emails from female fans, says the station.

Award winning Oli DJ Vimala chose the finalists who got to meet their movie idol in the flesh.

Station bosses told Asia Radio Today that Aarya was very accommodating, making fans feel at ease and posing for pictures as requested.
