Mediacorp Singapore’s classical music station Symphony 92.4 is back with the sixth edition of its Young Talents Project.
The contest is a search for Singapore’s next budding musical prodigy and since its launch in 2012, it has since grown into a platform for country’s young musicians to showcase their talents as well as promoting the arts from a young age.
It is open for registration, at a fee of $60 per person, from April 3 to May 14 under two categories – Junior for musicians or vocalists aged 7 to 12 years and Senior for musicians or vocalists aged 13 to 17 years.
10 finalists will be shortlisted after two rounds of judging to perform to a live audience at the historical Victoria Concert Hall, and will be featured on national television and radio.
The overall grand winner will win cash and a trip to Vienna, home to world renowned classical composers.
